Linda Newlin Ruffin


Linda is a certified Hudson Institute Coach, search consultant, trainer, facilitator, author and speaker, with more than 25 years experience in human resources coaching, recruiting, leadership and team development.  She has provided change management, leadership and team integration coaching to senior managers in companies such as Microsoft, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, T. Rowe Price, PacifiCare Health Systems, CareAmerica, Comp USA, Ariat, AMGEN and Hallmark International as well as other Fortune 100 companies and non-profits throughout the U.S.  


She has also coached entrepreneurs and individual leaders in various professional transitions and personal growth.  Her passion is to support leaders in making lasting change and integrating new leadership and their teams. Her unique career as an entrepreneur and a corporate manager gives her a breadth of experience that augments her training and certification as a professional coach.  Linda founded her unique executive search firm which provides “transition and integration” coaching for all managers they place and their teams. She has placed many women and minorities.  Prior to starting her firm in 1990, she recruited executives and provided career coaching for presidents and senior managers in the Pepperdine University PKE/Executive MBA programs. She also worked for the American Express Company in her early career.  Certified in the Myers Briggs and other assessments to support change.


Linda co-developed a course called The Inner Work for Leaders as a coach and teacher for the Hoffman Institute USA, which provides a transformational process for individuals/leaders who are seeking to become more fully present and become the source of sustainable change in their own lives. Her next book called “Emotional Technology: Cracking the Code on Human Programming – Apps for Lasting Change” will be published in early 2015. It addresses the question as to why 70% of change programs don’t last and why leaders struggle to sustain the skills and practices organizations spend billions of dollars training them in.
